Rock, Funk, Metal, R&B, Blues, and Country! Any style of drumming that you could imagine is what our instructors are prepared to help you learn. Our studios are equipped with full sized, acoustic drum kits so students are learning on a quality instrument from day one.
In voice lessons, we work on vocal techniques, warm-ups, and exercises while also progressing through performance songs that are chosen by the student. We sing songs that are familiar to the student so that we can spend our time perfecting the vocal performance.
TAs one of the most easy to learn beginner instruments, ukulele has risen in popularity in recent years. We offer ukulele lessons every week and our teachers will have you strumming along with your favorite songs faster than you ever thought possible!
Who hasn’t fantasized about sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair pickin’ and grinning with friends? Banjo lessons with Elliott School of Music are geared towards a group performance “jam” style of learning. We will work on classic bluegrass songs to learn the basics and will quickly begin incorporating group play into lessons.
As a traditional folk instrument, mandolin is most often played in folk and bluegrass music and as such, our instructors aim to prepare students for group performing in that area of music. Our woodwind instructors are well rounded players and have extensive experience teaching school band. We offer lessons for flute, clarinet, saxophone, and even double reed instruments like bassoon and oboe! Our mallet percussion instructor has a very full resume of instructing and participating in indoor and outdoor drum lines, drum corps, and has experience on almost every mallet percussion instrument as well as other types of auxiliary percussion.
We offer orchestral lessons that range in style from classically oriented music, to folk, country and bluegrass. This means that we have teachers available for violin/fiddle (yes, they’re the same thing!), viola, cello, and upright bass!
